Worship Ministry Leadership

Daniele Pimentel

Daniele Pimentel started her ministry in Brazil, at an early age of 14 singing at her local Church. In 2002, she moved to Canada with her husband Chris and daughter Kathlyn, so she started the Worship Ministry at Good News Church in Cambridge. Daniele is passionate to serve God and help people, especially in the Portuguese community. It’s a great joy to be part of this Church reaching out people to Christ.

The verse of my calling is Isaiah 6:8. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, here am I; send me.

Julie Dreyer

Julie was born and raised in Brantford, just south of Cambridge. She began attending Good News Church at 6 years of age when her parents became Christians.

Later, while attending a church in Brantford, Julie developed a passion for drumming and percussion. Her parents were surprised to discover that, at age 12, Julie had a natural ability to drum. They bought her an electric drum set to foster her gift for worship ministry (as her father is a worship leader).

In 2011, Julie and her husband, Luke, started a youth ministry at Good News Church where they served as youth ministers until the birth of their second child in 2016.

She is now a mother of 3 beautiful children, and she feels blessed to be able to serve on the worship team with her husband Luke Dreyer.

Daiane Britto

Daiane Brito de Oliveira accepted Jesus at the age of 8. He grew up in a Christian family, with many musicians so he had contact with music from an early age. At 12 he conducted the children's choir of the Metropolitan Baptist Church of Salvador-BA (IBAM). At the age of 15, she was already participating in the ministry of praise, which became one of the leaders, recorded two CDs "Livre Estou" and "Majestoso Deus" as vocal leader and composer. He traveled through Bahia taking the word through the praises and fulfilling the Ide of Jesus. She has lived in Canada since 2016 with her family, husband Sérgio Oliveira and two children, Felipe Oliveira and Carolina Oliveira, all serving Christ at Good News Church.

“Worship goes far beyond music, it is a lifestyle. If you don’t love your life, your music is just music “. - Daiane Britto.
